David has been a small business owner for 27 years. Behm Trucking was his first business venture after graduating from college, and several years later, the Behm family opened the doors of a seasonal ice cream shop in Greenville which they named The Twist. After more than twenty years of preparing his own personal and business taxes, as well as those for family and friends, he decided to pursue the idea of preparing taxes on a full-time basis. In 2012, he took his first formal tax course and has since continued his education through the National Association of Tax Professionals. In 2014, David and Sarah purchased Tundra Tax Service and began to work with existing clients as well as new individuals and business owners from Kaukauna and the surrounding area.
Sara has been an elementary teacher for the Hortonville School District and has also been instrumental in keeping The Twist operating smoothly. She enjoys working with many different types of people, elementary school students, teenage Twist employees, and the varied and loyal clientele that frequent The Twist year after year. She has enjoyed the past four tax seasons in Kaukauna and is looking forward to reconnecting with the excellent clients of Meister & Behm Tax and to meeting new faces as well.
Lisa brings forty years of accounting and tax preparation experience to Meister & Behm Tax. While she is “officially” retired, she still enjoys keeping a hand in on the action during tax season by working behind the scene. Lisa is looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all.
When not in the office, Lisa is an avid reader, a master knitter, and a basketball junkie. She has two grandsons and a dog that keep her busy in her spare time.
Ann has worked in a busy editorial department as a writer, copy editor, and online editor. She has also worked as an assistant administrator for a waste water treatment company. Currently, she is a volunteer administrator for a local women’s and children’s charitable support organization. Having recently joined the staff of Meister & Behm, she takes pleasure in the finer details of the job of organization, work flow, and most of all, meeting the clients.
